A POPULAR Italian seafood restaurant in Paisley has scooped a major award at this year's Scottish Fish and Chip Awards.
It comes after II Pescatore, which is located on Bridge Street in the town, won Best Newcomer at the event.
Announcing the news, the eatery said they were "delighted".
On a social media post, they said: "We won.
"We are delighted to announce we won Best Newcomer at this year's Scottish Fish and Chip Awards.
"Thank you so much to all our incredible customers for voting for us."
Punters of the venue flocked to the comments of the post to congratulate the restaurant.
One said: "Well worth the accolade."
A second chimed: "Congratulations and so well deserved."
Meanwhile, a third added: "Very well deserved. Can't wait to come back."
