A man has been arrested in Paisley after reportedly behaving "erratically" with a knife.
Police were contacted by concerned members of the public on Sunday afternoon, (February 25) at around 4.30pm regarding a man's behaviour.
Officers rushed out to the scene on Howard Street to investigate the reports.
A 38-year-old man was arrested and he is set to appear in court at a later date.
A police spokesperson said: "About 4.30pm hours on February 25 within the Howard Street area of Paisley, police attended reports of a male behaving erratically in possession of a knife.
"Police attended and a male was subsequently arrested.
"A 38-year-old male will appear in court at a later date."
