DRIVERS are being warned over an Erskine Bridge slip road closing this weekend.
Temporary work is being undertaken to replace the bridge expansion joint on the A898 northbound to the A82 westbound slip-road, north of Erskine Bridge.
The closure comes into force on Friday, March 8 at 8pm and will be in place until Monday, March 11 at 6am.
Traffic travelling on the A898 northbound (including HGVs) will take the A898 slip-road to the A82 eastbound, continue along the A82 eastbound to Kilbowie Roundabout and take the fifth exit to return along the A82 westbound.
The work has been rescheduled from its previous postponement in December 2023 due to adverse weather conditions.
Truck road maintenance firm Amey said that the roadworks will benefit around 46,000 vehicles using this route each day.
Emergency service vehicles will be permitted access throughout the works.
