A murder suspect is accused of cleaning a knife and clothes after the alleged killing of a man.
Derek Docherty, 36, is charged with a fatal attack on Sean Dock at a flat in Renfrew last May 13.
Prosecutors claim the 35-year-old was repeatedly struck on the body with a knife.

Docherty faces a separate charge of attempting to defeat the ends of justice.
This includes an accusation that he tried to stop police getting into the flat as well as claims he washed the blade and clothing.
It is said this was done in "an attempt to remove and destroy evidence" linking Docherty to the alleged murder.
Docherty's legal team pleaded not guilty on his behalf at a hearing at the High Court in Glasgow.
Lord Arthurson set a trial which is scheduled to start in February next year.
