Parts of Renfrewshire are set to be as warm as Magaluf this weekend with temperatures expected to soar.
The prediction comes from the Met Office who claim that Saturday, May 11, will be a roasting 21 degrees.
Areas such as Paisley, Johnstone, Bridge of Weir and Erskine are all set for the beautiful weather.
On the same day in the popular holiday hot spot Magaluf, temperatures will only be two degrees warmer.
However, the short spell of tropical sun may come to an end quicker than most would want with Met Office's long-range weather forecast predicting that Sunday will "likely" be the last dry day "for a while."
After Sunday, the weather is anticipated to revert back to being inconsistent, with rain spells expected.
During the week, patches of moving high pressure are “likely to cause periods of prolonged rainfall” in parts of Northern Ireland and the north of Scotland, according to Met Office spokesperson Grahame Madge.
The experts also claim that there is a chance that some showers could turn thundery in some locations.
Temperatures are also expected to fall closer to average for May.
