Police were called out to two streets after reports of thieves targeting vehicles in Linwood.
The reported incidents took place in Kintyre Avenue and Stirling Drive on Wednesday, September 4.
Police confirmed they had been called to these two incidents after concerns were raised on social media yesterday about vehicle break-ins in the area.
A Police Scotland spokesperson told the Gazette: “We were made aware of a break-in to and theft from a vehicle on Kintyre Avenue, and a break-in to a vehicle on Stirling Drive, Linwood on Wednesday, September 4, 2024.
