A bus firm with several Glasgow services is set to increase its ticket prices, it has been announced.
McGill's revealed that after a 'thorough review,' they will be 'increasing prices for single and return fares, as well as zone weekly, monthly and bundle tickets' from Monday, January 27.
Services which the travel company operate from Glasgow include its number 3 service from Neilston to Glasgow, its N3 from the city centre to Pollok, its 901, 906, and 906X services from Largs to Glasgow, its 374 services from Shawlands to Silverburn, its N4 service from the city centre to Newton Mearns, its N6 service from the city centre to Clydebank, its X21 and XP21 from Paisley to Glasgow and many more.

The travel operator said the price hike comes as the 'cost of running' its buses continues to rise.
A spokesperson said: "We’ve worked hard to minimise the impact on our customers while continuing to invest in our services, our fleet, and our teams.
"These investments include: introducing better buses and zero-emissions vehicles, improving punctuality and introducing new services, and supporting fair wages for the hardworking colleagues who deliver services every day."
As part of the price rises, single and return fares will increase from as little as 10p, McGill's have said.

A McGill's spokesperson said: "Our tickets can be bought on-bus using cash or contactless, or download the McGill's App from the App Store or Google Play.
"We’re phasing out our GoSmart Cards. To explore the best ticket options for your future journeys, please visit our fares and tickets.
"Finally, don’t forget that young people aged five to 21 living in Scotland are eligible for free bus travel with a valid Young Scot card.
"If you haven’t already, make sure to apply (either for yourself or on behalf of your child) through your local council."
