An officer for an Erskine youth group has explained the "importance" of a recent fundraiser in helping to ensure that the children who attend can "continue to flourish".
The 1st Erskine Boys' Brigade took part in a bag-packing fundraiser at the local Morrisons in December last year.
It was held in conjunction with the Erskine Rotary Club.
Elspeth Roxburgh, who has been involved in the organisation for over six years, explained how the funds will help support the group.

She said: "We split the money with the Rotary Club, raising £1,000, which was great.
"This was a lovely thought, and they were delighted with the cheque for over half the amount, even though it was a joint venture.
"The £800 from that will be used for new equipment, such as mats, soft balls for games, and things along those lines.
"The money will also go towards a couple of trips away for the boys.
"It will be really beneficial in helping the brigade move forward and allowing the children to flourish."
The organisation, which is based at Erskine Parish Church, meets every Friday across several age groups.
Elspeth detailed the opportunities the Boys' Brigade provides for the children who attend.
She continued: "It is amazing to see all the kids grow in confidence and learn lots of skills along the way.
"Another great thing is being able to see friendships blossom.
"We also have an awards ceremony at the end of May, where the parents can come and see what the kids have been doing over the last year.
"It is always a lovely event."
