Dargavel Primary pupils wowed audiences with their musical production of Disney’s Finding Nemo.

The children have been working hard in recent weeks to learn their lines, songs and choreography. 

Over the course of the last week, the Primary 5 pupils performed to over 1200 people. 

The children wowed audiences (Image: Supplied) It is the third year the school has worked on the programme with Disney New York and the Scottish Opera.

Dargavel staff have worked closely with the Scottish Opera, who helped teachers develop their skills and confidence to put on a school musical.

"The children looked fabulous on stage in the eye-catching costumes and were so well rehearsed.

"The feedback from our audiences was incredible.

"The Disney team at Dargavel is led by Mrs Heather Campbell, our director, Mrs Emma Duffy, musical director and Mrs Heather Ralph, our choreographer. 

"The team showed great dedication, creativity and commitment to put this production together. "
