A Glasgow-bound easyJet flight was forced to divert amid an emergency last night.
Flight EZY3172 departed Enfidha-Hammamet International Airport in Tunisia at 8.25pm on Sunday, June 29, bound for Glasgow Airport.
The aircraft was expected to touch down at the city's travel hub shortly after 12am this morning (Monday, June 30).
However, according to the travel operator, the flight was diverted to Birmingham Airport due to a 'passenger requiring urgent medical assistance'.

The airline revealed that once the plane had safely landed, the passenger was met by emergency crews.
According to Flight Radar, after touching down in Birmingham, the aircraft continued its journey to Glasgow Airport, where it landed at 3.06am.
An easyJet spokesperson said: “We can confirm that flight EZY3172 from Enfidha-Hammamet International Airport to Glasgow on 29 June was required to divert to Birmingham due to a passenger requiring urgent medical assistance.
“The customer was met by medical services, and the flight continued to Glasgow later.
"The safety and well-being of our customers and crew is always easyJet’s highest priority.”
