Man found with serious injuries in Paisley as police tape off street

A man has been rushed to hospital after being found with serious injuries on a street in Paisley.

Cops were called to Westpark Drive in the area at around 12.50am on Friday, July 18 after reports of an injured person at the scene.

A 43-year-old was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with serious injuries.

Local residents reported that the street was taped off by officers during the early hours of the morning.

It is understood the route has now reopened.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 12.50am on Friday, July 18, 2025, we were called to a report of an injured man on Westpark Drive in Paisley.

“Emergency services attended and the 43-year-old man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with serious injuries.

“Enquiries are ongoing.”
