Renfrewshire is bracing for a battering of torrential rain and thunderstorms today.
The Met Office has put a weather warning in place for the area and its surroundings.
The warning, which will last ten hours, was issued from 11am and will remain in effect until 9pm.

Heavy showers are anticipated, which could lead to localised flooding and a disruption in transport.
The thunderstorm warning covers a large number of areas in Strathclyde including Argyll and Bute, East Ayrshire, East Dunbartonshire, East Renfrewshire, Glasgow, Inverclyde, North Ayrshire, North Lanarkshire, Renfrewshire, South Ayrshire, South Lanarkshire, and West Dunbartonshire.
Met Office forecaster Simon Partridge said: "We could see some locally heavy downpours. 20 to 40mm of rain is possible in a couple of hours.
"That is potentially up to around half a month's worth of rain in a couple of hours in some places.
"You will see quite a lot of water on the roads and difficult driving conditions.
"Hopefully nothing more significant than that."

The extreme weather has reached Scotland after a period of high temperatures in England, which pushed a series of unstable weather systems northwards.
The combination of low pressure and warm, humid air across the country is driving the heavy, thundery showers. However, the Met Office notes that some areas within the warning zone may remain dry.
Forecasters have also warned that buildings could be damaged by floodwater, and there is a slight chance of power cuts.
