Man 'left covered in blood' after 'assault' in Paisley

A man was left "covered in blood" after "being assaulted with a weapon" in Paisley.

The incident allegedly happened at around 11am on Saturday, September 20, after reports were made to police of a man covered in blood driving his motor vehicle in the Whitehaugh / Regent Street area.

Numerous resources attended the area and cops eventually traced the driver of said motor vehicle.

The man was found to have head injuries after allegedly being assaulted.

Enquiries continued and a suspect has since been arrested.

Police Scotland confirmed that enquires remain ongoing.
