Woman arrested after Paisley Tesco petrol station 'break-in'

A woman has been arrested following a late-night "break-in" at a petrol station.

Police were called to the Tesco fuel station on Bridge Street, Linwood, at around 11.20pm on Saturday, October 18.

Images from the scene show that a police cordon has been erected around the business.

Cops have since arrested a 36-year-old woman in connection with the break-in and theft.

Police have said their enquiries are ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 11.20pm on Saturday, October 18, 2025, we received a report of a break-in to and theft from a premises on Bridge Street, Linwood.

"A 36-year-old woman has been arrested in connection and enquiries are ongoing."
