Renfrewshire has been hit with a yellow weather warning ahead of torrential rain and possible travel disruptions.

According to forecasters, the warning starts at 10am on Tuesday, November 10, and will extend until 11.59pm on Wednesday, November 10.

On Tuesday, November 10, the rain, expected to descend from the south, will intensify as the day progresses - particularly in the afternoon.

Estimates suggest around 20mm to 40mm rainfall in most areas, with some spots potentially experiencing over 60mm of rain by the day's end.

Forecasters have also warned of the possibility of accidents leading to further delays.
