An update has been issued on works on a bridge in Renfrew.
Full repairs on Arkleston Road will not begin until at least May next year, Councillor John Shaw has confirmed.
The bridge originally shut on June 4 after a lorry struck it.
The crash caused major delays on the M8 westbound before the carriageway reopened at the time.
Transport Scotland had indicated at the time that a closure would be required for six months.
However, the organisation then confirmed on June 18 that it could "reopen one lane and implement a temporary barrier and traffic lights on the overbridge within the next week or so".

Shaw confirmed at the time that a partial reopening would occur from Friday, June 27.
He has now issued another update on when the full repair works can be expected to be completed.
Writing on Facebook, he said: "I’ve been speaking with Amey about the ongoing issues at the bridge on Arkleston Road.
"They’ve confirmed they won’t begin the repair works until the current M8 works at Hillington are completed, meaning they are currently aiming for a May start.
"Unfortunately, with a roadworks embargo in place during the Commonwealth Games next summer, it’s likely the works will have to pause during that period and restart afterwards."
