Opening date revealed for Wendy's in Paisley

The opening date has been revealed for the new Wendy's in Paisley.

The fast food giant will start trading at its first Scottish site on December 19, which was previously Tim Hortons on Linwood Road.

The brand is known for the classic Dave's Double, the signature Baconator and its chicken nuggets.

A post on social media read: "Linwood, square era is approaching. Get ready."

It will be part of several new locations across the UK, including Glasgow, alongside Blackpool, Grays (Lakeside), Watford and York in the coming months, creating over 150 jobs.
