A former mobile bank branch van has been transformed into a vehicle for change.
The van, previously operated by the Royal Bank of Scotland, has been donated to Renfrewshire-based health and wellbeing charity Active Communities.
The charity plans to convert the van into a mobile food pantry to tackle food insecurity in Renfrewshire better.
This vehicle will help the charity reach more individuals and families across the area in need of support.

Fiona Easton, regional director at the Royal Bank of Scotland, said: “It is great to see our former mobile branch van getting a new lease of life and continuing to serve towns and villages across Renfrewshire with Active Communities.
“They are a great local charity who do fantastic work, and so were our first pick for donating the van to, which will help them expand their reach and the support that they can bring to households and families.
“I look forward to getting out in our old van in the new year with my Royal Bank colleagues to continue to support Active Communities.”
Staff from the Royal Bank of Scotland have committed to supporting the charity into the new year, through food collections in branches, volunteering at Active Communities’ depot, and helping with deliveries on the road.
Amanda Moulson, business development manager at Active Communities, said: “We thank the Royal Bank of Scotland for their kind donation of this van.
“This will enable us to substantially increase our support for communities and better tackle food insecurity in our local area.
“I welcome the continued support from Royal Bank staff, as we continue in our mission to change lives every day with a range of programmes that inspire, motivate and keep people connected across Renfrewshire.”
