A Paisley beast has been remanded in custody after being caught with indecent images of children.
Predator Ross Coleman previously admitted at Paisley Sheriff Court he was in possession of over 300 images containing horrific child sexual exploitation and abuse.
Coleman was snared when police raided his Wallace Street home in December 2023.
Cops found a haul of devices within the property including two mobile phones that belonged to the twisted 26-year-old.
A cybercrime investigation discovered Coleman was in possession of 335 child sex abuse and exploitation pictures and 15 videos containing the same sickening material.
On a Google Pixel phone, Coleman had 223 of the horrific images.
These were categorised as 12 within Category A, 79 classed as Category B and 132 classed as Category C.
On a Samsung phone the paedophile had a total of 112 images and 15 videos.
There were eight Category A images and four videos. There were 30 Category B images and six videos and 74 Category C images and five videos.
The children featured in the images on both devices were mostly boys, with some girls, estimated to be aged four to 15 years old.
The town’s court heard of the highly graphic and distressing detail in the images and videos that were recovered, which included the sexual abuse and sexualisation of children.
In September last year, Coleman pleaded guilty to being in possession of indecent photographs of pseudo-photographs of children between August 22, 2021 and December 1, 2023, at his home while being subject to a court order.
Sentence had been deferred on that occasion to obtain a variety of reports and for a risk assessment to be carried out. However Coleman, who also has a directly analogous previous conviction failed to attend and comply with the court.
At that time, the Crown also made a motion for Coleman to be subject to a sexual harm prevention order - a court order designed to protect the public from sexual harm by restricting the behaviour of individuals convicted of certain sexual offences or are deemed to pose a risk of sexual harm.
Today at Paisley Sheriff Court, Coleman’s lawyer made a motion to revoke the guilty plea.
The motion was refused and Sheriff Gillian Craig remanded Coleman in custody to appear for sentencing in relation to the matter on January 15.
