Search underway for owner of 'fancy' pigeon found in Paisley

A search is underway for a "fancy" pigeon found in Paisley.

The animal, which was discovered without a ring in the Westpark Drive area of the town on January 15.

It is now being cared for at the Scottish SPCA centre in Glasgow.

The organisation provided the update on social media and have encouraged anyone with relevant information that could help to locate the owner to phone 03000999999.

A statement read: "This fancy pigeon was found on 15 Jan in the Westpark Drive area of Paisley. They do not have a ring. They are now at our Glasgow Centre. Please call 03000 999 999
