A popular Paisley pub has reopened after it was at risk of closure.

The Bankhouse, which is situated on Gilmour Street, recently stopped trading, with the future uncertain.

However, local businessman Gary McCaw has stepped in to stop the boozer from shutting its doors for good.

The pub reopened as Sportsters on January 30.

The bar will also serve food seven days a week.
