A refreshed foodhall is opening this week following a major redesign.

Dobbies Garden Centre in Braehead unveiled the new "cottage kitchen garden"-inspired foodhall, making it one of the first to showcase the retailer’s latest in-store concept.

The Braehead foodhall, which officially opens on February 12, is part of a wider national rollout, with 47 more Dobbies locations set to adopt the new format in the weeks ahead.

Charles Randall, general manager at Dobbies Braehead, said: "The foodhall is one of the most popular areas in the store and an important part of our garden centre experience.

"We’ve been working hard on the new format that’s inspired by a cottage kitchen garden and brings together essentials, treats and seasonal variety through a range of both popular and new brands.

"We’re excited to welcome customers in to see the new ranges and try them for themselves."

More than 2000 products are available in the new-look foodhall, including Dobbies’ signature scones and tray bakes.

Customers can also discover new brands like Botham’s of Whitby and Patteson’s.

Sweet treats from Bonbons, Lindt and Tony’s Chocolonely are prominently featured, alongside an expanded deli selection offering cheese, meats, olives, dips and other essentials for cheeseboards or party platters.

There is also a wide selection of biscuits for cheese, sharing bags of crisps and snacks, nuts and dried fruits.

The pantry has also been expanded to include global flavours.

Gift food options have also grown, with a larger selection of alcohol and soft drinks on offer.
