A major section of the M8 has closed from today for a month of maintenance works, sparking fears of travel disruption across Renfrewshire.
The closure affects the St James’ Viaduct stretch between Junction 28A and the A737 link — a key route running through Renfrewshire — and is required to allow essential repairs to take place.
Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, confirmed the works will run daily until Thursday, April 9.
