Police have been monitoring public transport across Renfrewshire after "issues" were raised.

Cops have been engaging with members of the community and utilising both buses and trains across the division.

A statement on social media read: "Officers from Renfrewshire's Community Policing team have been out, engaging with members of the community, and utilising public transport after issues were raised across the division."

Meanwhile, cops have seized £60,000 worth of drugs after a major bust at a property in Paisley.

Around 6.10am on Tuesday, March 10, officers executed a warrant at a property on Wellmeadow Street.

Diamorphine, cocaine and cannabis estimated to be worth up to £60,000 was recovered.
