Over 100 vehicles were stopped in Renfrewshire last week as cops monitored several routes across the area.

Road Safety Campaign officers from the area carried out joint patrols with officers from the Road Policing team.

The campaign aims to improve driver behaviour and reduce collisions across the area.

Officers stopped over 100 vehicles, and several motorists were charged with offences including no driving license, no insurance, disqualified driving, theft of a motor vehicle and speeding.
