A Linwood GP surgery has issued a warning to patients over prescriptions.

Cartside Medical Practice has confirmed it will be unable to issue repeat medication from April 13 till 24 in a text message seen by The Gazette.

This is due to a health board-wide computer systems update.

The practice is urging patients to check that they have enough medication to last over this time period.

Locals who use the surgery are also advised to order before April 10 if a prescription is required.
