An EasyJet crew member became unwell as a plane was forced to return to Glasgow Airport.

Flight EZY439 returned to the tarmac shortly after takeoff, while all passengers were seated with their seatbelts on, due to "a cabin crew member requiring medical assistance".

Medics met with and treated them on the ground.

A spokesperson said: “Flight EZY439 from Glasgow to Jersey on March 29 returned to Glasgow due to a cabin crew member requiring medical assistance.

"The flight landed normally in Glasgow and was met by medical services on the ground. Customers continued their journey to Jersey later that afternoon, and we apologise for any inconvenience caused.

“The safety and well-being of customers and crew is always easyJet’s highest priority.”
