A Renfrewshire beast who has previously been jailed for being in possession of indecent images of children has again been caught sending sexual messages to a “14-year-old” boy.
Sick Greg Taylor was jailed in February 2025 after being caught chatting sexually to an adult decoy, who he thought was a 13-year-old boy, and in possession of indecent images of cruel child sex abuse.
At that time, cops recovered 580 images and videos of child sex abuse from Taylor’s laptop and mobile phone.
He was also snared chatting to an undercover cop posing as a 13-year-old boy called Aiden.
In a message to the undercover officer, Taylor said he was unconcerned about his age and stated, “I love young” and asked for Aiden to send photographs.
The paedophile was first jailed at Paisley Sheriff Court in June 2022 for two years after being convicted of being in possession and distribution of indecent images of children.
Taylor, formerly of Paisley, now of Macdowall Street in Johnstone, has now admitted to once again chatting indecently online to who he thought was a 14-year-old boy between January 11, 2024 and January 17, 2024.

The 39-year-old beast sent pictures of his private parts to “Ryan,” who was in fact an undercover police officer.
On June 29, 2022, Taylor was made subject to a Sexual Offences Prevention Order.
Sexual Offences Prevention Orders (SOPOs) are court-ordered restrictions imposed on individuals convicted of specific sexual offences to protect the public, often including restrictions on internet use or travel.
Taylor was prohibited from contacting children under the age of 18 as part of the order.
This order was breached between January 11 and 17, 2024 when Taylor communicated in a “sexually-explicit manner” with who he thought was a 14-year-old.
Taylor’s defence agent told Paisley Sheriff Court his client is currently subject to licence.
Sheriff Thomas Millar stated the court would need reports and a risk assessment before dealing with the matter.
Sentence was adjourned for the preparation of a criminal justice social work report, a restriction of liberty order assessment and a risk assessment.
Taylor had his bail continued and will return to court for sentencing next month.
He was again placed on the sex offender’s register.
