Paisley mental health campaigner Craig Ferguson recently met pop sensation Lewis Capaldi during his 3000-mile Tartan Trek.

The charity is currently walking from Los Angeles to Boston to raise funds for the Scottish Action for Mental Health (SAMH).

Craig, joined by his lifelong friend Matt Allan, who has now passed the halfway point in his journey, met Capaldi backstage for a special meet-and-greet.

Capaldi also delivered a shoutout to Craig in front of thousands of concertgoers.

With a £1 million fundraising target, Craig hopes to complete the challenge in time for Scotland’s first World Cup game in Boston this June.

He is carrying out his journey to help fund the provision of better mental health services in Scotland.
