Cops have been monitoring areas of Renfrewshire after repeated reports of issues with off-road bikes.

Officers from the community policing team have been out on bikes, and quad bikes, patrolling areas including Hawkhead, Robertson Car Park and the Gennifer Braes.

Road traffic legislation still applies to these types of off-road vehicles, and the permission of land owners is required.
