A Paisley man accused of assaulting three people has been deemed unfit to stand trial.
Ryan Jelassi is alleged to have assaulted Anton Wandrum causing “permanent disfigurement” on July 6, 2023 in Causeyside Street.
On December 17, 2023, Jelassi is accused of assaulting and robbing Ross Mills in Barrhead Road and on December 20, 2023, Jelassi is accused of assaulting Alex Carroll in Gauze Street causing “permanent disfigurement.”
Jelassi, of Robertsons Gait in the town, is also alleged to have broken into Subway on Causeyside Street on July 6, 2023, and stole a fire extinguisher and a T-shirt.
Prosecutors further accuse the 19-year-old of being in possession of a knife in Causeyside Street on July 6, 2023 and on February 26, 2024 in Espedair Street, while subject to bail orders.
Court papers also allege Jelassi of breaching bail conditions on September 29, 2024 and injuring a police officer by “struggling violently” with him on the same date.

Defence agent Mr Sloan told Paisley Sheriff Court a psychiatric report prepared on Jelassi indicates he’s “not fit to stand trial.”
Procurator fiscal depute Ms O’Connor told the court the Crown “accept” the position.
Sheriff Amel Elfallah fixed an examination of facts at Paisley Sheriff Court for July 31.
Jelassi, described as a prisoner of Polmont prison, also faces a charge which alleges him of being in possession of a firearm in Robertsons Gait on March 18, last year.
Court papers state he was in possession of a “firearm or imitation firearm” with intent to cause Andrew McKay to fear that “unlawful violence” would be used.
An examination of facts for this charge was fixed for July 3.
