A brass band is celebrating more than a century of music with a special concert.
Renfrew Burgh Band will host the concert at Renfrew Town Hall on Saturday, June 2 to mark its 115th anniversary.
Beginning at 7pm, the evening is set to include a wide variety of music, with something for all the family.
The concert, conducted by musical director Mark Good, will feature guest performances from Mark Wilkinson, principal cornet, and Gary Curtin, principal euphonium, from the internationally renowned Foden’s Band.
Mark Good, whose association with the band started in 2012, said: "We're so excited to be bringing an evening of musical celebrations to the stage in Renfrew Town Hall, as the Renfrew Burgh Band celebrates its 115th anniversary in style.
"From music from the movies to pop and rock anthems, original music for band and showstopping solo playing, it promises to be an evening to remember, and we can't wait for people to join us."
