Johnstone Burgh have confirmed the appointment of Stevie Farrell as the club's new manager.

The Keanie Park outfit were on the lookout for a new man in the dugout after parting company with Murdo MacKinnon last month.

Development team bosses Graeme Ramage and Kieran Gibbons had been overseeing the club's run in the West of Scotland Football League, which ended with a 4-2 defeat at Renfrew on Saturday.

'Faz' joins after leaving Dumbarton in November where he managed 210 matches after previous managerial positions at Cumnock and Stranraer.

The 53-year-old suffered two relegations with the Sons, though did manage them when they suffered a 15-point deduction in the 2024/25 season due to financial difficulties.

He also guided them to promotion via the play-offs in the 2023/24 campaign.

Farrell has not yet confirmed his backroom staff ahead of the club's campaign in the Lowland League West in the coming season.
