A sell-out West End show is coming to Paisley.
The Christmas By Candlelight concert series, known for its festive singalongs and dancing, will be performed at Coats Paisley in December.
The show which blends West End vocals, live bands, and hundreds of flickering candles has been a huge hit, delivering a series of sold-out shows across the UK since 2023.
Paisley native Calum Gordon, a keys player in the show, expressed his joy at the opportunity to return to Scotland.
He said: “I was born and raised in Paisley so having the opportunity to return to Scotland for the Christmas By Candlelight tour is a complete joy and full circle moment for me.
“When my love for music and love for my family and home collide, it makes performing all the more fulfilling and special.
“Not to mention, the Christmas shows are incredibly fun, not just to watch, but to perform, and I cannot wait to bring the West End power home this December.”

Ben Purkiss, , who starred in the West End production of Bat Out of Hell, also expressed his excitement about returning to Paisley.
He said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to be returning to Coats Paisley this Christmas and bringing a little West End magic with us.
“These shows are such a joy to perform, and the energy from the audience is unlike anything else.
“Year after year, the Christmas tour continues to sell out, and when you see the reaction from the crowd, it’s easy to understand why.
“It’s become a festive tradition for so many people, ourselves included, and honestly, I think we enjoy it just as much as the audience does!”
The 2026 Christmas By Candlelight programme will include a variety of productions.
In addition to the main show, there will be ABBA Christmas By Candlelight, Bublé Christmas By Candlelight, Motown Christmas By Candlelight, and Rat Pack – A Swingin’ Christmas By Candlelight.
Simon Gordon, director at concerts By Candlelight, shared his gratitude for the continued support of the show.
He said: “What started as a small idea has grown far beyond anything we ever imagined, and we never take that support for granted.
“We’re so grateful to everyone who returns each Christmas, brings family and friends along, and helps create such a special atmosphere at every show.
“Seeing these concerts become part of people’s celebrations is genuinely the most rewarding part of what we do.”
