An ogre-sized adventure is coming to the stage in Renfrewshire this week.
Johnstone High School will present Shrek the Musical from June 17 to 19 at 7pm each evening.
Around 80 pupils are involved in the production, which the school says is one of its "biggest creative projects of the year".
The show has given pupils the opportunity to develop skills in acting, singing, dancing, stage management, teamwork and technical production.
Participating pupils have expressed their enthusiasm for the show and the experiences they've had taking part.

“I’ve made new friends, too.”
Louis Somerville, an S3 pupil who plays Baby Bear, added: “I’ve enjoyed getting more confident with my dance skills during rehearsals.”
The production has also helped develop a real sense of community within the school, with pupils, staff and families all coming together to create a successful production.
