A gothic market is set to take over Paisley town centre this weekend.

The Summer Goth Market will bring together unique crafts, cabaret and sweet treats at Browns Lane in Paisley on June 27 and 28.

This is the first ever Summer Goth Market at Browns Lane, organised by the creative hub in partnership with Icey Promotions.

Running from 1pm to 7pm over two days, the event will feature 28 stalls offering gothic art, jewellery, crafts and alternative clothing, alongside entertainment for visitors of all ages.

Each day will also showcase live music from John the Hat and a cabaret performance from Lady Hart.

Jamie McDermid, owner of Icey Promotions, said: "We are excited to build on the success of our Goth Night Market by launching our first ever Summer Goth Market.

"The combination of carefully curated vendors and live entertainment will make for a weekend not to be missed."

The event is free to attend, though a £1 donation is suggested on entry.

Organisers are keen to make it a family-friendly weekend, including free books and toys for children available while supplies last.

All ages are welcome at the event, but those under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

Visitors can also drop by the permanent Browns Lane indoor market and relax at one of the two on-site bars, which will serve a variety of beers and spirits.

Sweet snacks including ice cream, candyfloss and popcorn will also be on offer.

All profits from vendor table rentals will go towards supporting a free-to-access Petfoodbank.
