Caremark launched new Renfrewshire and East Renfrewshire. office

Caremark, one of the UK’s largest home care companies, has expanded its Scottish network with the opening of a new branch in Renfrewshire and East Renfrewshire.

The office, which officially opened on Friday, June 19,, will provide personalised care for adults to help them live safely and independently at home.

This launch supports both private customers and local authority referrals, aiming to assist people in accessing home support while easing pressure on broader health and social care services.

The Renfrewshire and East Renfrewshire branch will offer various services, including elderly care, respite care, hospital discharges, long-term care packages, Alzheimer's and dementia care, and arthritis care.

It also extends to companionship, diabetes care, live-in care, night care, end-of-life care, reablement, and support for individuals with acquired brain injuries, physical disabilities, spinal injuries, stroke, and neurological conditions.

John Thomson, the managing director of the new branch, is currently recruiting care assistants to support customers across the region.

The launch is creating multiple local jobs, with John focusing on building a team that "understands the community and shares their commitment to compassionate, reliable care".

John said: "With the local population expected to continue to rise over the next decade, demand for care at home is increasing, putting ever-growing pressure on our health and social care services.

"We are focused on building a team of care assistants who can deliver compassionate, personalised care to help our customers feel safe, comfortable and confident in their own homes.

"As a company, we will provide all our team with full training, both mandatory and specialist, so we can ensure the care we give is of the highest possible standard.”
