Glasgow Airport travellers will soon have a new option for winter getaways, with easyJet launching a seasonal route to the popular Polish city of Kraków.
The new service, due to begin in November, will give passengers flying from the airport easier access to one of Europe's most sought-after winter city break destinations, known for its festive atmosphere and Christmas markets.
The route forms part of a wider easyJet expansion in Scotland, which also includes the country's first direct connection between Edinburgh and Tromsø in northern Norway, a popular gateway for Arctic adventures and Northern Lights trips.

Kevin Doyle, easyJet’s UK country manager, said: "We are thrilled to be offering yet another fantastic range of new routes and packages, including the first direct connection between Scotland and Tromsø.
"Our winter services to Tromsø and Krakow will be perfect for those looking to book a winter getaway, whether that’s a city break or an Arctic adventure.
"This is a real statement of our commitment to giving customers across the UK more choice from their local airport and we look forward to welcoming even more customers on board for their winter holidays."
The Glasgow to Krakow route starts on November 13 and will also operate twice weekly, on Mondays and Fridays, landing passengers in one of Europe’s most popular winter destinations.
The new offerings expand easyJet’s winter schedule and give Scottish travellers more options for short-haul getaways during the colder months.
EasyJet Holidays is also offering package trip options to both destinations, including flights and hotel with flexible booking terms.
Holidaymakers can secure their getaway with a deposit of £60 per person and take advantage of easyJet holidays’ Ultimate Flexibility guarantee, which allows free changes and includes a best price promise.
Chris Tibbett, Executive Director – Commercial Aviation & Marketing at AGS Airports, said: "It’s fantastic to see easyJet continuing to grow its presence at Glasgow on its new 7th based aircraft from August, further strengthening connectivity for passengers across the west of Scotland. This latest expansion underlines the airline’s long-term commitment to the airport and is unlocks even more choice for customers this winter.
"Festive city breaks remain hugely popular, with Central and Eastern Europe growing in popularity for those wanting a cosy winter getaway. This new flight to Krakow builds on easyJet's strong choice of routes to European cities and this continued investment ensures even greater flexibility and value for travellers planning their next escape"
