The inaugural flight between Glasgow and a top tourist spot took to the skies today.
Glasgow Airport celebrated the launch of Eurowings’ new direct service to Hanover in Germany, which marks the return of Eurowings to Glasgow Airport for the first time since 2019.
Part of the Lufthansa Group, the airline will operate the service on Mondays, Thursdays and Sundays every week, until August 23, 2026.
The flight times are as follows:
Monday:
- Hanover to Glasgow: 6.50am to 7.45am
- Glasgow to Hanover: 8.25am to 11.10am
Thursday:
- Hanover to Glasgow: 7pm to 7.55pm
- Glasgow to Hanover: 8.35pm to 11.20pm
Sunday:
- Hanover to Glasgow: 1.25pm to 2.20pm
- Glasgow to Hanover: 3pm to 5.45pm

Today’s departure was marked with a celebratory send-off at Glasgow Airport, highlighting the continued growth of international connectivity and the strengthening relationship between AGS Airports and Eurowings.
