Glasgow Airport drivers are being warned to expect disruption next week as a stretch of the M8 is set to close.
Essential roadworks will affect the M8 eastbound at Junction 28 from Tuesday, July 7 to Friday, July 10, with overnight closures in place each night from 8pm to 6am.
The closures are part of patching works carried out by Amey on behalf of Transport Scotland.

During the works, the eastbound on-slip at Junction 28—serving Glasgow Airport—will be fully closed.
A diversion route will be in place via Sanderling Road and Sanderling Parkway, directing drivers to rejoin the M8 at the St James Interchange roundabout.
Single-lane closures will also apply on the roundabout at the entrance to the airport, as well as on the Caledonia Way West and St Andrew’s Drive approaches.
Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout these works.
