A man will stand trial accused of attempting to murder a woman in Paisley.
Robert Wright, 32, allegedly assaulted Kirsty-Ann Adam in the town's Mill Street on September 18, 2025.
Court papers state Wright seized hold of her neck and pushed her body, which caused her to fall onto a sofa.
It is alleged that Wright repeatedly punched Miss Adam to the head, restrained her then compressed her neck, which restricted her breathing.
Miss Adam is then stated to have repeatedly lost consciousness.

Wright is alleged to have uttered threats of violence, bit Miss Adam to the cheek and pushed her down a flight of stairs.
This is said to have been to her injury, permanent disfigurement, danger of her life and attempted murder.
Wright denies the allegation and will stand trial for four days at the High Court in Edinburgh in June next year.
