Man taken to hospital after assault on Brediland Road in Paisley

A man has been taken to hospital after an assault in Paisley.

Police were called to Brediland Road, near the Londis store, at around 10.20am on Saturday, July 11, 2026.

A 29 year old man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.

Enquiries are ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 10.20am on Saturday 11 July 2026, we were called to a report of a man having been assaulted on Brediland Road, Paisley.

“A 29-year-old was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.

“Enquiries are ongoing.”
