A new independent charity shop is open in Lochwinnoch.

Granny Mutch, which is located on High Street, has been thriving since it opened its doors back in May.

The shop is currently accepting donations, with all proceeds going back into the local community.

It is open Monday to Friday, from 9am to 5pm and 10am to 4pm on Saturdays.

The project was 18 months in the making and the building, which used to be a Royal Bank of Scotland branch, underwent four months of refurbishment to get it sorted for opening.

The shop has been funded by charity the Local Energy Action Plan.
