An 11-piece soul band will celebrate the legacy of a classic cult film at a night of live music this summer.
The McCommitments, known as the "Scottish Saviours of Soul", will perform in Paisley on Saturday, August 29, to mark the 35th anniversary of The Commitments, the 1991 film that introduced a new generation of fans to soul music.
They return to The Bungalow following a previous sold-out show and will perform fan favourites including Mustang Sally, Try a Little Tenderness, Take Me to the River, In the Midnight Hour, Chain of Fools and Land of 1000 Dances.

Singer Big Stevie said: "Paisley has always had a fantastic live music scene.
"The audiences here know how to enjoy themselves, and The Bungalow is one of those venues where the atmosphere is always electric.
"The last time we played there, it sold out in no time at all, and the crowd was incredible from the first song to the last.
"The music from The Commitments has brought people together for 35 years, and that's what we love about it.
"These songs still have the power to get people singing, dancing and sharing the moment together.
"We can't wait to bring that feeling back to Paisley."
Known for their energetic performances and tight musicianship, The McCommitments have built a reputation for capturing the atmosphere of a classic soul band.
Their line-up includes multiple vocalists and a full horn section, delivering the full sound of the genre.

The band's shows regularly fill dance floors and inspire singalongs, with audiences of all ages connecting through timeless music.
With performances across Scotland, including at Airdrie Town Hall, The McCommitments are growing a dedicated following.
They have also been nominated for the Scottish Live Music Awards in both 2024 and 2025.
The Paisley concert is part of an expanding tour as they continue to establish themselves as one of Scotland's leading live soul acts.
