Locals encouraged to visit Paisley's Sma' Shot Cottages

Renfrewshire locals are being encouraged to visit a "hidden gem" in the heart of Paisley.

The Sma' Shot Cottages are inviting residents to explore the rich weaving history of Paisley brought to life by experienced volunteers.

These charming 18th and 19th-century cottages offer 25 to 30-minute tours, showcasing life in the 19th century, and are packed with engaging activities for children.

Visitors are also able to indulge in homemade treats at the tearoom, open on Wednesdays and Saturdays, or enjoy afternoon tea for £9.50 per person on Fridays.

Meanwhile, those looking for a special memento can wander the on-site shop, which offers a range of local and unique gifts.

The cottages are welcoming visitors until the end of September.

They are open on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 12pm to 4pm, with the last tour at 3.20pm, and on Fridays from 1pm to 5pm, with the last tour at 4.20pm and the last afternoon tea at 4pm.
