Plans have been submitted to transform a restaurant in Paisley.

The Gilmour Street site, which was formerly Caprice Cafe, could be turned into a betting shop.

The application was put forward on August 12 by Boyle Sports.

A consultation is yet to open on the proposal.

BoyleSports provides gambling and betting services and offers a wide range of betting opportunities in horse racing, football, tennis, golf, ruby, cricket, and numbers betting, serving customers worldwide.

The plans are currently awaiting a decision from Renfrewshire Council.
