Thousands of people took to the streets for the Paisley 10k and Fun Run.
Recognised as one of the largest sporting events in Renfrewshire, this year's event drew 3500 participants for a day of running, fundraising, and community spirit.
Among those taking part was campaigner Craig Ferguson, who recently completed a 3100-mile walk across the United States in a kilt to raise funds for Scottish Action for Mental Health (SAMH).
To celebrate his efforts, Craig was invited to set runners at Sunday’s 10k on their way through the streets of his hometown.
Craig said: "Always proud to be a Paisley Buddie.
"Such an honour to start and then race in the Paisley 10k, one of our town’s biggest events.
"To be at the centre of the start of the race alongside other incredible runners was a great experience.
"The race itself was surprisingly enjoyable, given the fact I haven’t run since pre-America.
"So, to walk away with a 48:32 time was better than expected.
"Well done to everyone who took part.
"It was great to see so many faces."

Prizes were presented by Commonwealth karate champion Amy Connell, one of Scotland’s most decorated martial artists.

Many of the Fun Run participants took part to raise money for charity, adding an important fundraising element to the day’s sporting achievements.
The routes for both races passed through some of Paisley’s most recognisable landmarks.
Among the highlights was Museum Mile, where people cheered on family and friends whilst hearing fast facts about some of the objects and collections that are set to feature when the museum reopens.

Councillor Lisa-Marie Hughes, chair of OneRen, said: "The Paisley 10k and Fun Run was once again one of our region’s best days of the year.
"Seeing the streets of Paisley packed with runners and supporters cheering them is always a marvellous sight.
"There’s something incredibly special about seeing people enjoy themselves and achieve great personal goals by taking part.
"It was also fantastic to recognise the achievements of Craig Ferguson as one of our own for his fantastic feat in the USA this summer.
"We’re so proud of him, along with everyone who took part – and thankful, of course, to our event organising team, sponsors, and supporters.
"We can’t wait to do it all again next year."
The Paisley 10k and Fun Run is organised by leisure, culture, and sport charity OneRen, with support from Renfrewshire Council and Kilbarchan AAC.
This year’s race was sponsored by Specsavers Paisley.
