A GIRL has been hospitalised after being hit by a car next to McDonald’s at the Phoenix Retail Park.
The five-year-old has suffered minor injuries as a result of the accident.
It took place near the Linwood Road branch of the takeaway on Monday, July 3 just before 12noon.
Officers are currently investigating the cause of the accident.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "At 11.45am police received a report of a five-year-old girl having been involved in a road traffic accident near to a McDonald’s branch, at Saturn Avenue.
“The girl suffered minor abrasions and was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital.
“Anyone who witnessed the accident is asked to contact police on 101.”
