A LINWOOD-based care worker has been recognised at the 2017 Scottish Care Awards.
Tracey Dickson has been celebrated as one of the leading care home employees in the country at an awards ceremony recognising the best of the independent care home sector in Scotland.
The housekeeper at Mosswood Care Home scooped the Ancillary and Support Staff award at the Scottish Care Awards 2017.
The awards have been hailed a huge success in recognising individuals, teams and companies, with more entries than ever flooding in each year.
A ceremony was held on November 17 at the Hilton Hotel in Glasgow and was hosted by Michelle McManus.
Tracey said: “I am very surprised but thrilled and honoured to be chosen as a winner at these prestigious awards.”
Pauleen Stevenson, the care home manager, who nominated Tracey, added: “She is an integral and popular part of the support staff.
“Tracey performs as close to perfection as I feel possible from any individual.
“She is worth her weight in gold.”
