The end of British Summertime is officially approaching, which, despite the gloom, brings one positive development – an extra hour in bed.
At 2am on Sunday, October 28, the clocks will roll back one hour and you can feel like you’re doing a bit of your own time-travelling (sort of).
If this proves confusing, always remember the timeless saying: “spring forward, fall backwards”.
The return of Greenwich Mean Time means it will get darker in the evenings and lighter in the mornings, but at least you can theoretically fit a bit more sleep in.
The clocks will change again on March 31, 2019.
